Driven raises R$16 million

Driven, a digital school that trains software developers, announced a R$16 million investment today. Iporanga Ventures led the seed round, joined by ONEVC, FundersClub and 3G Radar, with angel investors including Patrick Sigrist (iFood), Sergio Furio (Creditas) and Brian Requarth (VivaReal).

Eight months into operation, Driven had selected 140 students from around 20,000 applicants. Students pay for the course only once they are employed, and the goal is to train 10,000 tech professionals by 2025.

Between June and August, in partnership with Cuts Work, we created Driven's visual identity.

The name guided the language: physics, magnetism and energy, in movements of attraction, progression and amplification, to portray people driven to fulfil a purpose. The symbol stacks layers of learning, from start to finish and from theory to practice, and expands into the 2D and 3D illustrations, the pictograms, the website and the school's materials.
