01Listen before you speakWe start by asking the obvious questions and the not-so-obvious ones. As in a jazz band, listening matters as much as playing.
02Say what needs sayingEven when it isn't what the client wants to hear. Easy comfort is the worst enemy of good work.
03Design is a decisionEvery visual and verbal choice is an instruction to the world on how to read the brand. If it doesn't solve a real problem, it doesn't go in.
04Refuse the obviousWhat looks incompatible is exactly where design matters most. We make things simple because we've mastered the complex.
05A deal is a dealBeing responsible for a brand is being responsible for a piece of the dream that drives it. Deadline, scope and your word are the most basic form of that commitment.
06There is no finish lineFrom the past we inherit reference; from the future, restlessness. Stop exploring and you stop growing.
