In September 2019, Goiás hosted Campus Party for the first time: one of the world's largest gatherings on innovation, science, entrepreneurship and technology, with more than 70 editions in 30 countries. From 4 to 8 September, the first Goiás edition brought some 60,000 people together in Goiânia, with a focus on agritech and security.
Invited by IxDA Goiânia, the local chapter of the Interaction Design Association, we gave a talk on the strategic role of design: how brand and design shape business decisions from the very start of the process. The IxDA space was full, a sign of an audience increasingly ready to discuss the role of strategic design in the development and growth of organisations.
