In July 2014, Goiânia hosted the 24th edition of N Design, Brazil's National Meeting of Design Students. Held since 1991 in a different city each year, the meeting is organised by the students themselves. The Goiânia edition, themed "Mude seu estado_" ("Change your state"), took over UFG's Samambaia campus from 19 to 26 July and was run by students from five institutions: Faculdade Cambury, PUC Goiás, Senac, UFG and Universo.
Some 1,200 students from across the country and 78 invited professionals, from Brazil and abroad, came together for talks, workshops, fashion shows and case presentations. BR/BAUEN was among the confirmed guests, with a talk by its partners Rodrigo F. Pereira and Braz de Pina on 20 July.
