Cucina Mia — In questa casa, l'Italia è la regina

Case study

Cucina Mia

Cucina Mia is chef Claude Troisgros's tribute to his Italian roots, born from a family story: his grandmother Ana Forte, from Udine, and the gnocchi that brought everyone together on Sundays. BRBAUEN built the strategy, the identity and the brandbook around "dolce far niente": a light, sensorial brand, handmade in its textures.

Located in Goiânia and conceived by the renowned chef Claude Troisgros, Cucina Mia proposes a journey through the aromas, flavours and textures of Italy, fusing classic Italian cooking with the chef's own experiments. The menu is light and sensorial, and we set out to reflect that in the identity.

We approached the challenge with lightness, drawing on the Italian way of life and, above all, on the expression "dolce far niente": more than a phrase, the idea of knowing how to enjoy the present. That thought returns throughout the verbal and visual language, most of all in the handmade processes behind the textures.

↗Lightness turned into a system"Dolce far niente" stopped being inspiration and became a criterion: palette, typography, phrases and handmade textures form a sensorial brand, recognisable even without the logo.
↑The chef recognised himself in the brandClaude Troisgros described the identity as the way he himself would like to express himself through food: the brand spoke the language of the person who created it.
“This moved me. I tell my children that when I grow old I will become a painter. They said I would need to learn how to paint, but my dream is to paint with food, expressively, the way you created the Cucina Mia brand.”
