About the award
Established in 1953, the Type Director’s Club is the longest running, most prestigious, global typography and type design competition alive. Now in its 69th year, projects from 77 countries participated, with Certificates of Typographic Excellence going to winners from 42 different countries. The award recognizes typographic excellence and celebrates new typeface and lettering designs in all global languages.
